I'm not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
thermonuclear war, or you getting fired, because the alarm app failed. Please
do some research if you have any concerns about features included
before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Download and install Odin,usb drivers.
- Power off the device and boot into download mode by holding [VOLUME DOWN/HOME & POWER].
- A Warning screen appears,now press volume up once and connect the phone to the PC.
- Open Odin with admin rights and you should see the phone added at some ID COM:
- Port if not then you have to download and install the appropriate drivers.
- Now click on AP and select the downloaded recovery file.
- Hit start and the flashing will be done in a few seconds and the device reboots.
- Hold VOLUME UP+POWER+HOME buttons to boot into recovery.
This should work on all J5 variants running on official stock Marshmallow without any issue.Test and report back so that your variant can be added to the supported device list..

NOTE : For some reasons twrp gets replaced back with the stock recovery if we left the device to reboot into system after flashing. To overcome this issue untick the Auto Reboot from the options in Odin and flash the recovery by following the above steps. Now right after flashing finishes,power off the device(by removing battery) and hold [ VOLUME UP+HOME+POWER] to enter into the recovery and swipe to 'allow modifications'.
